Woodbridge Golf Club is now open to new members.
The club is a traditional private members' club, with a current membership of 700 members. Mens', Ladies', Seniors', and Juniors' sections have an active schedule of golfing events throughout the year with Mixed fixtures entering the calendar as well. The club supports 27 holes of golf on two courses and a full range of facilities .
Tim Johnson, our professional is employed by the club (unusual for golf professionals), and runs a full program of golf development and teaching for members' benefit. From tune-ups for the scratch team who won the Stenson shield in 2010, to group taster sessions for beginners, Tim and his team have a programme for everyone. The team in the pro shop also offer members a full range of services such as club cleaning, equipment advice etc.
Woodbridge Golf Club has a long history of hosting and achieving at the highest levels in the sport. 2010 was a good year for the club as we hosted the EGU Champion Club competition challenging the nations best club amateur golfers. The club won the Suffolk Golf Union's scratch Stenson Shield, and Tolly inter-club competitions. All levels of golfer will find an opportunity for competitive sport to suit them, and the chance to represent the club in local, county and national competitions.

Woodbridge Golf Club has three categories of membership for young golfers depending on their age and circumstances:
Woodbridge Golf Club has an active junior section and we are always keen to encourage new young members. There is the opportunity to join regular Saturday morning coaching programmes organised by our professional. This gives full access to the Forest Course. A handicap is required before moving to the Heath Course and a £50 levy is then applied.

In support of junior golf, members aged between 18 and 21 pay a quarter of the full subscription. This includes the year in which they attain the age of 21. While in full-time education up to the age of 24 such members will pay the full Junior subscription.

To support youth golf, and assist younger members transition from an Intermediate category to a full playing category, the Club has introduced a category for members under 30. Young Adult Members pay a percentage of the full subscription increasing with age i.e. 22 and 23 pays 40%, 24 and 25 - 50%, 26 and 27 - 60%, 28 and 29 - 80%.

This is open to those whose primary residence is more than 50 miles from the clubhouse. Country members have unrestricted access to all the privileges and facilities of the club.
